Every once in a while I get an email from friends asking me if my blog is dead yet. That’s about the time I get motivated to write a new post. I also post when I go through one of my NP recharge periods (otherwise known as procrastination). It’s been a while since I’ve recharged my batteries by just surfing the net.
The newest time-suck tool in my bag is StumbleUpon (I know I’m late to the game). This has to be the perfect procrastination tool ever invented. It has a Firefox Add-On that installs a tool bar. You just create your account tell it what categories your interested in and then click the “Stumble button”. BAM! It takes you to a random website with in your category. Then you can vote if you like it or not. When you click the “I like it!” button it adds it to your profile page as a page you like. It’s a damn cool thing.
One of the things I found today was a way to generate ASCII art from a photos (also not a new concept but always fun.)
